For sale is a WW2 1939 Dated British LMS Railway Civil Engineer Department Map which is titled “map of London Midland and Scottish railway and its connections” marked at the bottom of the map “665/ I 1939 Printed in Great Britain” and maker marked “Waterlow & Sons limited London & Dunstable”. This excellent map is in good condition, there are several small nicks in the map so please see the photos for more details, the printed map is backed by a fabric and attached to black wood mounts either end. During ww2 detailed maps like this were used by the military and civil defence to aid the rescue efforts, defence positions, Etc.
