For sale is a Beautiful Antique French Gothic Mourning Style Black Leather And Embossed Gold Leaf Top Stating “PAPETERIE” which translates to “Stationary Store” from French, with its original Contents. This Writing Slope is in excellent condition for its age, unfortunately the lock is missing, and a partition slot in the larger tray is missing, however this does not take away from its beauty, this travelling ladies writing slope has its original black & gold leaf patterned paper liner, it also comes with a wooden dip pen, glass inkwell one good condition, 12 original beautiful WW1 period artist impression post cards of historic sites throughout France and Germany (only one of these has been written on and it’s from “44528 Pte R.Lambert 9 Platoon E.Coy 1/12 L.N.D B.E.F, (British Expeditionary Force) Germany”.
